"SPECIAL AGENT BOBBI" DESAI,
CENTURY 21 REDWOOD REALTY

Special Agent Bobbi = Special Needs Mom + Real Estate Agent

When Bobbi Desai was pregnant with Ryan, her first child, he was diagnosed with congenital heart defects. At that moment, she became an advocate, a researcher, a negotiator, a coach, an educator, a planner, a multi-tasker and a special needs parent. Her life changed forever. Ryan underwent his first open-heart surgery with he was 2-days-old, his second when he was 5-months-old and his third when he was 3. When he was 2 1/2, Ryan was diagnosed with Torg-Winchester Syndrome, a very rare bone disease. He is one of 12 reported cases worldwide, and there is no treatment and no cure. Although Ryan has not yet met a doctor that has seen a case like his, specialists at NIH and Shriner’s Hospital for Children are willing to research his case and attempt to treat him. Despite his disabilities, Ryan is now a thriving kindergartener who loves to zoom around in his red motorized wheelchair, has 4 therapy sessions a week and fractures very easily, but he is an extremely smart, social, funny and sweet boy and brother to his 5-year-old sister, Arya.

As a Realtor® with Century 21 Redwood Realty, Special Agent Bobbi strives to help families like hers, that have specific and special needs.
